Built into the cliff on the north bank, Creek Retreat looks straight down the creek to the bridge and the open sea beyond. The living level is a single open room with a plunge pool cut into the terrace; the bedrooms are below, cool and dark, opening onto the garden.
A private jetty gives you water access — swim at high tide, paddle at low, or have a boat collect you for lunch at Distant Relatives or a sail with the Kilifi sailing club.
It is a two-person house that sleeps four comfortably. Ideal for a working stay: the Wi-Fi is solid and the desk faces the water, which is either a help or a problem depending on your discipline.
